Catherine Tresa is an Indian film actress and model, who appears in Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil films. September 10, 1990 (age 25) Dubai[1] Other names Katherine Occupation Actress Parent(s) Frank Mario Alexander and Tresa Alexander Early life Catherine was born to Malayali Roman Catholic parents Frank Mario Alexander and Tresa Alexander in Dubai.[1] She said, "I don’t speak fluent Malayalam, it’s mostly English that we speak at home. I speak decent Hindi though and now I’m taking lessons in Telugu".[2] She did her Grade Twelve in Dubai and moved to Bangalore for higher education. She studied for two years in St. Joseph's College, Bangalore.[3] While studying, she pursued extra-curricular activities. She learnt to play piano, and got trained in singing, dancing, ice skating and debating,[2] stating that she believes that she is "good at anything I put my mind to".[4] In Dubai, Catherine was an Emirates Environment volunteer. Surabhi is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Telugu and Tamil films. She was born on June 5 in Delhi, and made her Tamil film debut in Ivan Veramathiri (2013) Career While undertaking a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the College of Art, Delhi, Surabhi became interested in a career in films and took up modelling assignments as well as signing up to an acting course at Imago Acting School, where she was taught by Barry John and Manoj Bajpai.[2] She made her first film appearance in Saravanan's second film Ivan Veramathiri (2013) featuring Vikram Prabhu. After being recommended to seek acting opportunities in the South Indian film industry, Surabhi successfully auditioned for the venture and was selected to play the leading female role of Malini, a cute and timid girl.[3] During the making of the film, the director gave particular praise to Surabhi for her dedication in learning the dialogues in Tamil and putting in extra effort to ensure her diction was correct.[4] The film opened in December 2013 to positive reviews and performed well at the box office. Surabhi's performance was praised by critics, who noted that "her smile is arresting" and that "she is perfectly cast and brightens up all the scenes she appears in with her bubbly, innocent character and seems totally natural and fresh."[5][6] She was subsequently nominated in the Best Female Debutant category at the Vijay Awards and South Indian International Movie Awards. Surabhi was next seen in a supporting role in Velraj's directorial debut Velaiyilla Pattathari (2014), and portrayed the role of an ex-smoker who is saved by the lung donation of the lead character Dhanush's mother. She shot for the film in early 2014 and noted that it was a "special cameo appearance". Divya Spandana (born 29 November 1982),[1] known by her stage name Ramya, is an Indian film actress and politician.[3] She predominantly acts in Kannada films and also appears in Tamil and Telugu films. Ramya- made her acting debut in the 2003 Kannada-language film Abhi, opposite Puneet Rajkumar.
